Lin Si Qi, the son of a wealthy businessman, returns to Beijing after a biking holiday in Yunnan province, reconnecting with an old friend, Chen, who's enjoying newfound wealth after his father's passing. In Hong Kong, taxi driver Ching Fai, known as "Scumbag Fai," flees to Macau to escape gambling debts. He takes a job at an old friend's gym and rents a room from Wang Ming Jun, a Mainlander suffering from depression. Meanwhile, penniless Si Qi and his bankrupt father wash up in Macau.
