Yowai Konosuke is a psychiatrist and he runs his own small psychiatric clinic in a back alley in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. He listens to his patients carefully and faces their symptoms patiently. He can identify the names of illnesses that other doctors fail to do, and he gives hope to his patients. He has a staff nurse, Amamiya Yuri, who is working in the psychiatry department for the first time.
