Summary:
Toshio Suzuoka runs a small metalworking factory in the suburbs. He has a wife, Fumie, and a 10-year-old daughter, Hotaru. They enjoy peaceful days, but Toshio’s acquaintance Kusataro Yasaka appears. Kusataro Yasaka recently served time in prison. Toshio hires Kusataro and lets him stay at his house.
